Meet the Team at Clairemont Endodontics

All team members are actively certified in CPR/AED.  Each team member also obtains a certificate for annual training in OSHA, Infection Control and HIPAA compliance.

A. Jayson Tengonciang, DMD

Dr. A. Jayson Tengonciang received his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware. He then received his degree in General Dentistry at Temple University, where he graduated with honors.

After his tenure at Temple, Dr. Tengonciang spent a year in a general practice residency program at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He then returned to the university to complete his 2-year specialty training in Endodontics, and has served on the faculty as an adjunct clinical assistant professor.

Dr. Tengonciang is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and San Diego County Dental Society.

His interests include traveling, skiing, running, and spending time with family and friends. Also,  Dr. Tengonciang and his wife recently welcomed their first child, a beautiful daughter, to this world!

Christine Luo, RDA

Lead Dental Assistant

Christine Luo is our lead dental assistant. She received her professional training at Grossmont Health Occupation Center, earning her Registered Dental Assistant license in 2010. She has substantial experience in all areas of four-handed dentistry and is extremely passionate about endodontics! She is known for her compassionate attitude, friendly smile!, and ability to put our patients right at ease. Her profound ability to connect with patients and provide expert care are not the only reasons she remains an amazing asset to our team, Christine is TRI-LINGUAL! She speaks fluent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and she is even learning Vietnamese!

Christine is so happy to be part of this great team and truly loves the endodontic field. When she is not in the office, handling all of our 'back office' patient needs, she also enjoys shopping, spending time with her family and friends, and cooking!
